Easter Egg Hunt

The other night Avery was in the bathtub and drawing with her bathtub crayons.  She drew a circle and quickly erased it.  Laura asked, "Why did you erase it, Avery?" Avery replied, "I don't know how to tell you why."  - Avery future and present drama queen.

On Saturday one of the families held an Easter egg hunt in the neighborhood.  Since we moved here 3.5 years ago there has been an explosion of families with little girls all around Avery's size.  Now that they are all pretty much mobile, this summer at the pool should be a lot of fun for them to play with each other.

Wearing her "party dress"
She had on a pair of bunny ears, but they quickly fell over her eyes which meant mommy got to wear them for the rest of the party.  Somehow I forgot to get a picture of that.  It also tells you about how small Laura's head is that she can wear a hat that is slightly too big for Avery.
Such a big girl.  And a cutie.
On a slow walk to find eggs.  There were a couple of boys that cleaned up most of the eggs as Avery was too polite to run.
And there were cookies!!!  That count as dinner!!!
So after a cookie and a sip of apple juice, Avery asked to go play with the other kids.  Our little rule follower sprinted towards the sidewalk then ran down the curvy sidewalk rather than walking straight thru the grass.
And this is the face a child makes when they fail at potty training...
