Seoul Part 4

Day 3 was also in Seoul, but we had to leave towards Hong Kong that afternoon so it was a little less jam-packed than previous days.  We spent most of the day touring the tourist things like tourists.

There was a garden and palace near our hotel that we walked to.
 Laura getting her temple on.
It was cool to see this ancient architecture style (most was rebuilt after the Japanese occupation) beside modern buildings in downtown.
The main Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul.  It is mostly rebuilt from the 1990's onwards, but according to the original designs.

 Doing my best imperial impression.
After doing some tourist things, we went to the main market.  It was mostly full of clothing and people didn't really want to negotiate, but still crazy (or so we thought until we went elsewhere).

But what did we eat????

We had to go back for the knife cut noodle soup and dumplings because A: We knew where it was and B: it was awesome.  This time we went at a normalish eating hour and the line was out the door into the street.  Luckily there is only 4 things on the menu so they push the crowds through very quickly.
