Dinner with Mickey

Overall the last day at the Magic Kingdom was a blast.  By the end Avery was pretty exhausted, but we had one more thing to do that evening.

Hugging her Olaf (from Frozen).  Throughout the trip we told her she could buy two things on the last day so that we didn't have an arguement every time we walked by a gift stand.  She chose a stuffed Olaf and a action figure set from her favorite move (Ariel...duh) as her two toys.  We bought her the Mickey ears on the first day (and again on the third because we lost them (not Avery) somehow.

First up was Goofy!
 And Minnie Mouse!
 Along with Mommy!
 And Daffy Duck!
 Chef Mickey!
Which is bigger?  Laura's belly or Mickey's head?
Avery thought it was so funny when the characters would sign her book.
 It's Pluto!

Disney Day 5

For Disney day 5, we went back to the Magic Kingdom.

First up the kid's size roller coaster that we did 3 times in a row, since we were the only ones there.  They didn't even make us get up out of the roller coaster and walk around.
She was pretty excited that morning.
 Riding Dumbo with Mommy.
 An action shot.
We hadn't explored Tomorrowland much so we headed that way and got to drive cars.  This is the one ride that I remember from when I was a kid.  Pa took me and David on the ride and I got to go by myself.  I remember that I could either see over the steering wheel or reach the gas pedal, but not both.  Avery could barely see over the steering wheel so she took Laura on a rough ride.
Preparing to hit the rail in the center for the 100th time.
This may be the best picture of the entire trip.  Avery in full happiness, while Laura and I look on enjoying Avery.  Avery was pretty excited to fly the rocket ship as that is her backup career choice if being an airplane pilot doesn't work out.
We went on the Tomorrow land people mover which was great...  Avery thought it was a roller coaster and we got to put our feet up.
Riding on the Jungle cruise.
Oh we did the Ariel "Under the Sea" Ride again today too!
Did I mention it was her favorite after the roller coaster?
Which is what we did next!
And then we did the big roller coaster.  Avery just barely qualified for this one due to her height, and Mommy got a great picture of us dropping in.
Ear to ear grins after the ride.
We also did the Carousel between rides again.
This is where they park the strollers for a few of the rides.  Outside of every ride there was stroller parking and a Disney employee in charge of keeping them straight and tight.  Some even had valet where you would drop them off and they would park them for you.
We did the Ariel ride again?!?!!  And we did the picture in front of the ride again!??!
Did I mention we did the Ariel ride?  I think it was in both of our dreams that night after doing it so many time over the 5 days.  I think Laura was hitting her limit with it, but Avery was no where close.

Dinner with Cinderella

We finished Day 4 with a dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare.

Avery was pretty excited to dress up as a princess for this meal after meeting with all the princesses the day before.
Prince Charming had to help her put on her princess ears.
 Big smiles.
 Cinderella also came to visit.
 And evil stepmother.
 And the two step sisters.

At some point during dinner, Prince Charming and Cinderella did a dance in the middle of the dining room.  Avery was pretty focused on it.
And then Cinderella came and did a dance with Avery.
 A curtsy after the dance.

Disney Day 4

Day 4 we took a trip to Animal Kingdom.  Overall there wasn't a ton to do at Animal Kingdom for little kids as a couple things were closed and she wasn't tall enough for a couple of the rides, so we made it a shorter day and actually got a nap in.

First up was breakfast with some more characters.
 Donald Duck!
 Goofy!
Daisy Duck!

Playing African drums with Daddy.
They did have a giant playground that we had fun going down the slides.
We did get to do a couple cool shows like Finding Nemo.
Avery was pretty into it even though I don't think she has seen the movie.
We also went on a Safari to see some animals.
There was also a pretty impressive live Lion King performance.
That Avery was pretty into...  She said this was her favorite show, because there was a lot going on.

Disney Day 3 continued some more

I mentioned that it rained in one of the earlier posts, but didn't mention how much.  It was a lot.  For many hours...  Avery was a trooper throughout and we decided to tough it out as long as she was happy.  We would go see a show, toss her in the stroller under the cover, then move to the next ride, pull her out, and repeat the process.  I ended up soaking wet below my rain jacket, while Laura's preggo belly offered an umbrella like effect to her pants and shoes from her rain jacket.

Towards the end of the night, we just let Avery run around in the rain with her rain jacket.  She did a great job finding every single puddle in the Magic Kingdom to splash in.
We ended up making it to the fireworks display at the end of the night which was around 8pm, which meant we didn't make it back to the hotel until after 9.  Granted Avery would have taken a nap if we had forced her to, but she was great throughout the day and was rewarded with a great fireworks show.

Me and wifey...

And Laura took some pretty sweet fireworks pictures.

Of which Avery was pretty amazed...
A grand finale to an awesome day!!
