So you may or may not be aware that Laura and I celebrated our upcoming 10th wedding anniversary with an epic trip through Asia over the past week and a half. Thank you so much for our parents splitting up watching Avery while we were gone. I know this blog is mostly about Avery but the next couple weeks we will be posting a lot of pictures about our trip as I want the blog to be more of a living family history that we can print into a book at sometime.
Our trip took us from Charlotte thru Chicago and Tokyo; stopping in Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Beijing. We had been saving Airline miles and hotel points for a while to pay for this trip and to do it in first class; which made the distance and time we traveled a lot easier.
In the Charlotte Airport ready to go.
For the first flight we actually sat beside each other so we could take a picture. We sat beside each other for all of the legs, but couldn't really take pictures as you will see.
I won't bore you with plane pictures for the rest of the posts, but here is the giant 747 that took us from Chicago to Tokyo,
Laura taking advantage of the leg room. Her feet couldn't touch her foot rest.
I think a first class seat fits me just fine.
Once we landed in Tokyo we chilled in the lounge and I took a few pictures of airplanes until we boarded the last flight of the day to Seoul.
