Discovery Place Kids

I promise I will get to the Disney pictures soon...

The week before we went to Disney, the kids and I had MLK day off while Laura had to work; so I met Sara, Anna, and Madison at Discovery Place Kids in Huntersville.  The place is just a big dress-up pretend playground for the kids to have fun, run around, be crazy, and overall a great place to take the kids to run off some energy when it is cold outside.  Bonus points for seeing their cousins.

First up the firetruck and fireman Carter.

Avery took a turn in the racecar, but I am not sure Carter would be able to see what's going on.

Just doing a little bit of farming.

Practicing some climbing and balancing.  Avery was pretty quick climbing the wall to the top.  You can see in the background of Carter on the balance beam, Avery and Anna trying to race to the top.

The submarine was a big hit as well with all the buttons and switches for the kids to press.

Anna was an expert on boat safety.

Carter loved fixing the car and pretending to play with all the tools.  Behind garbage trucks and toy cars, I think tools are some of his favorite toys.

They did a science experiment and all the kids sat still for 3 to 5 minutes.  Or maybe it was a puppet show.  Either way it was a chance for Sara and I to catch our breath from chasing Carter and Madison from running in opposite directions.

These two...
