Snow Day

Also right before we went to Disney it ended up snowing in Charlotte.  Laura was in Colorado and I had some meetings in town, so my parents came to help with the kids.  My meetings got shortened because of the weather, so I got to head home early and get some playtime in the snow with the kids.

Avery was pretty excited about it.

 The snow was pretty dry and didn't want to cooperate, but Carter tried the best he could.

Of course, we also had to get the sled out and give sledding a try in our little backyard.

It isn't a big hill, but the kids loved it.  Carter probably went up and down the hill 20 or more times.

Carter had not taken a nap that day, so by the time dinner rolled around he was getting pretty tired....

And he's out...  All in all it was a great snow day.
