Christmas #1

For Laura's Dad's side of the family, we rented a house in Asheville for a weekend before Christmas.  One of the highlights was going snow tubing down the road at some random guy's hill.

Avery and Jude had a blast going up and down the hill. We had to drag Avery away...
I think I had a little bit of fun too.
 The whole snow tubing gang.

Unfortunately, Carter was under the weather the week before; so we didn't think that it was a good idea to take him out in the cold.  (It was somewhere around 0 degrees or something crazy)  He did get to go outside and stomp around in the snow that was in the yard of the house with Papa and throw a few snowballs though.  Next year he should get to go...he would have loved it.
The house had a lot of things to do, which was good because there was like 25 people in it.  I am not sure how this foosball game turned out, but Carter didn't fall off the cooler.

We of course ate a lot and opened presents.  Carter had a lot more fun this year opening presents being one year older.

A truck!
Carter was hilarious opening his presents.  He didn't wait to open them to shout in excitement..."A box!  Another box!"

The kids also go personalized NC State football jerseys from Uncle Russell and Aunt Denise.  Carter still has to grow into his a little bit, but they were both pretty excited about them.

The view from the mountain house was pretty good.  This is for all the grandparents that complain that there are never any pictures of me.

When did Avery get so old?
