This past weekend we took a trip to Greensboro and Taylorsville to hang out with friends and family. Avery got to play with a lot of people and have a lot of fun.
My parents watched Avery while Laura and I went out to a baseball game with Mike and Brandi. It was nice to have some "adult" conversations.
Avery of course had a blast playing with all of the different toys that my parents have for her including riding the rocking cow.
On Sunday we went to Taylorsville to hang out with my grandparents and show off Avery before football season where we don't have any free weekends. Avery had a great time performing for everyone and showing off all of her tricks.
However, her favorite part of the trip was the blueberries. My grandparents have blueberry bushes that we were picking and Avery was eating from. Avery loves to hang out outside and she really enjoyed eating blueberries. She had a little stool to sit on and we would say "Avery do you want a blue berry?" and she would hop off the stool and come running to eat the blueberry then walk back to her stool. Repeat 50 times and you have a kid full of blueberries. We were sitting inside and I asked Avery to bring me a blue berry out of the bucket. She would walk over grab one, walk over to in front of me, eat the blue berry, hold out her hands and say "All Gone." Then she would smile and walk away.
Of course the best part is always the eating...
