Our Little Model

Sunday was a gorgeous day outside so we hung out in the back yard.  Avery walked around, picked up sticks, and pointed at the trees.  She made it all the way out to the fence and leaned back on it for support.  I swear we did not set these pictures up...she leaned back and acted casual.  We would start laughing and she would give a big smile then go back to straight face.  It was hilarious.

Birthday Party

Avery went to a friend's birthday party on Saturday.  She had a blast walking...yes walking (videos to come)..around and meeting all the guests.  They had a bouncy castle for the birthday party that we tossed Avery into.  After some slight hesitation, she had a great time after Mommy showed her how it worked.  She didn't really stand up in it very well, but if you would say to her "Avery Bounce" she would start bouncing on her butt and smiling.

Parlor Tricks / Learning

So over the past few days we have been teaching Avery new tricks in addition to "Where's your belly?"  I guess that's how you learn and how we have a few good laughs.  She now knows Wheres your belly, feet, head, ears, nose, mouth in addition to where is Mr Wuf, Mommy, Dad, Charger, trees, outside, grass.  She also has a farm animals book that she reads and can point out the different animals on the page if you ask her.  The funniest is when you as where is the cow, she points it out and goes "oooooooo".

Out of Office

I am out of town working today, so this is what I am missing.

Bath time Bonanza

This bath time happened this week.  For some reason she was determined to splash all of the water out of the tub.  She had been doing this for 5 or 6 minutes before I went to go get the camera.  If we put a toy in front of her she casually flipped it over her shoulder so that it wouldn't be in the way of her splashing.  

Also in this video she is showing off her new trick, "Where's your belly?"

Canoefest Shirt

Avery is finally growing into her canoefest shirt just in time for our annual trip down the New River, but we haven't told her that she isn't going.

Easter Dress

This is Avery all dressed up for some Easter pictures.  Not the best cooperation with looking at the camera, but still a cutie.

Stoney Brook

This weekend we took Avery to Stoney Brook.  Or Stoneybrook.  One of the two.  It is a steeplechase or steeple chase.  I suppose they aren't chasing steeples so let's go with steeplechase, even though that seems to be a really long word.

Anyways....We got to hang outside in the beautiful weather and watch horses run around and jump over things.  Avery had a blast watching all the people, walking for her grandparents, and looking at the horses.
