Random Stuff

So we had a little break in the blog, but now that I am catching up this is what has been going on.  Carter had a little bit of an ear infection, pink eye, then back to the ear infection with a whole lot of teething going on.  Multiple trips to the doctor and multiple shots, but overall he has handled it like a champ.

Tearing paper is fun!

 Avery has this princess castle that Carter loves playing in

Avery working on her reading skills.  She is getting really good at reading.  She pretty much can read most of the beginner books in her room and loves to recognize and try out new words when we are out and about.

 This past weekend was really nice, so we all got to hang out outside.  Carter got some good sunshine.

 Avery even got some practice in.  It is amazing to see that she hasn't picked up her clubs since the fall; but how much harder she can hit it and how much more coordinated she is.

Then a couple of videos.  First is Carter working on his walking.  He is getting pretty good about cruising around the table, but won't stand up on his own quite yet.  Still a few more weeks away from walking.



Then the funniest thing.  He picked up Avery's wooden kazoo as a teething toy, but figured out how to play it immediately.  It is now one of his favorite toys due to the triple nature of a teeting toy, noisemaker and hammer.
