Oyster Roast

We recently headed to Lumberton for the annual Gentry family oyster roast.  We didn't take too many pictures as it was all hands on deck to keep Carter from crawling into the pool and my hands were dirty from eating 4 dozen or more oysters.

Avery got a lot of good play time with her second cousins.

Carter had a great time being held by everyone and grazing on the food spread all afternoon.  The pinestraw was not on the menu, but it was on his.

Jude also tried a few oysters.  Avery promised me she would eat an oyster, but every time I asked she would keep saying "Maybe later daddy, those oysters smell bad."
