So last weekend, Avery and I decided to go to a real golf course. We have done quite a bit of hitting balls in the backyard or at the driving range, but we needed to try out a real golf course. We went down to the local par3 chip and put and had a go of it Saturday morning. I didn't really anticpate that she would play more than 2 or 3 holes, just because of her attention span, but she did a great job.
Teeing off on the first hole. We shortened up the holes a little bit, but she was hitting her driver and pink golf ball about 20 yards or so.
She ended up with a hook and needed to chip on from the side of the green.
She has a pretty good back swing.
This was her first time practicing putting, so she just kinda raked the ball into the cup, but let's give her the benefit of the doubt and call it a solid par.
Here is a great video of us getting our practice work done in the back yard.
